Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene requested a full investigation into an alleged romantic relationship between Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and prosecuting attorney Nathan Wade.

She filed the complaint Wednesday, calling it an “illegal conflict of interest,” per NBC News.

This comes amid allegations that Willis and Wade had traveled together to the Caribbean and Napa Valley, leading to speculation of a romantic relationship between the two.

In her criminal referral, Greene referred to Wade as Willis’s “secret boyfriend” and also noted three other trips, one of which cost “nearly $700,000 in official funds” on Nov. 5, 2021, which billed for a full “24 hours on a single day.”

Greene also wrote, “This is part of Fani Willis’ unlawful partisan pattern, through her words and deeds, to illegally politicize and weaponize her public office to wage lawfare against President Trump for the purpose of interfering in the 2024 presidential election.”

The New York Post reported that former Trump 2020 campaign official Michael Roman called for Willis to be disqualified and the case to be dropped on Monday.

Now, Greene is being applauded for taking action against Willis and Wade.

Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., posted to X stating, “Excellent job from @mtgreenee filing a criminal complaint against Fani Willis for serious allegations that she hired her very unqualified boyfriend, paying him over 600K to prosecute President Trump.”

“The entire case is a SCAM,” she added.
