In light of the controversial comments made by Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., about her commitment to Somalia, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., introduces a censor resolution on Omar.

On Jan. 27, Omar addressed listeners at a speech in Minneapolis, where she admitted to prioritizing Somalia over America.

RSBN reported on a video of Omar, who spoke in Somali, telling the audience that she and her people are “Somlians first, and Muslims second,” according to the subtitles of the English translation on the video. In addition, she added, “The U.S. government will only do what Somalians in the U.S. tell them to do!”

This has caused an outcry from Americans at her Somalia First agenda. In response, Greene announced in a video on X that she has introduced a censure resolution on Omar for “admitting” to working as a foreign agent.

According to the New York Post, Omar claimed these remarks were not entirely accurate and resulted from translation and poor subtitles.

Greene does not believe this and feels that the censure is not enough for her. Greene explained in her video, “Censure is not going far enough. If it were up to me, we would expel Ilhan Omar and deport her out of the United States.”

Greene also elaborated on why the censure resolution was introduced. “Her comments are outrageous. She’s acting as a foreign agent within our very government.” Greene adds, “She’s acting as a foreign agent on behalf of a foreign country. Our country is going to be taken over from the inside.”

Omar is not the only name mentioned in her speech. Greene also raises the alarm about Joe Biden acting as a foreign agent, referring to the Biden family profiting from a fired prosecutor in Ukraine.

Greene warned, “For as long as this continues and we allow people to serve in our government acting as foreign agents for the interest, for the good of foreign counties and foreign peoples, our country is not safe.”

In closing, Greene urged her colleagues to vote for censuring Omar.
