A new poll released by CNN on Sunday revealed President Donald Trump with a major lead over President Joe Biden for the 2024 general elections, even when throwing in independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

A shocking new poll released by the left-leaning outlet and conducted by SSRS surveyed 1,212 voters between April 18-23 and found that support for Trump is still holding strong. In a two-way race between Trump and Biden, 49 percent of voters stated that their support would be going for Trump in November, giving him a 6-point lead over Biden, who sat at 43 percent, while 8 percent remained unsure or would vote for someone else.

However, even with the toss-in of Kennedy and Green Party candidates Jill Stein and Cornell West, Trump’s lead over the competitors grows even larger. Survey numbers show that 42 percent of voters would back Trump, giving him a 9-point lead over Biden, who sits at 33 percent.

Additionally, Kennedy received 16 percent of the vote, West 4 percent, and Stein 3 percent. Notably, the margin of error for the survey is roughly 3.8 percent.

Trump commented Monday morning on Truth Social regarding the survey from the outlet, stating that they were “good poll numbers, from CNN of all places.”

Americans have continued to voice their upset with Biden’s leadership as many have concerns over issues like the economy and border security. The CNN poll shows that so far, 61 percent of voters stated that Biden’s presidency has been a failure, with only 39 percent stating it’s been a success.

The upset from voters raved is s significant jump from a survey conducted in January 2022, with 57 percent of voters stating that Biden’s first year in office was a failure, and 41 percent calling it a success, according to CNN.
