With five months of second-term leadership under his belt, President Donald Trump has remained steadfast in the White House, garnering national support from the American people who overwhelmingly voted for his reelection in a landslide last year, and earning an A+ in job performance.

According to recent polls and data, the president has a high approval rating among likely voters in the United States.

New data from Rasmussen Reports’ Presidential Tracking Poll showed Trump with a 52 percent job approval rating among likely U.S. voters, along with 37 percent who “strongly” approve.

Even more impressively, President Trump’s single overnight approval rating (from Wednesday night to Thursday morning) soared to 55 percent, according to their data.

“President Trump remains extremely popular. He’s at his best when the pressure is greatest,” Turning Point USA President Charlie Kirk remarked of the impressive polling.

A survey from InsiderAdvantage this week also reflected President Trump’s popularity with Americans. In their national survey of the president’s job performance, Trump had a 54 percent job approval rating among likely voters.

On Thursday, President Trump slammed a large mainstream news outlet, Fox News, for suggesting his popularity is lagging with Americans amid his deployment of the National Guard into Los Angeles and rumblings of potential war with Iran.

“They are always wrong and negative. It’s why MAGA HATES FoxNews, even though their anchors are GREAT. This has gone on for years, but they never change the incompetent polling company that does their work,” he wrote in a statement on Truth Social.

According to Fox, the president holds a 53 percent approval rating for his handling of the U.S. border, with lower marks on the economy and inflation.

The president fired back at the poll, writing, “Now a new FoxNews poll comes out this morning giving me a little more than 50% at the Border, and yet the Border is miraculously perfect, NOBODY WAS ABLE TO COME IN LAST MONTH. 60,000 people came in with Sleepy Joe in the same month last year. I hate FAKE pollsters, one of the Worst, but Fox will never change their discredited pollster!”

The president was referring to a stunning report from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection revealing “zero illegal aliens” crossed into the United States in May, compared to 62,000 who entered the country under the Biden administration just one year ago.
