A report from Real Clear Investigations Senior Reporter Paul Sperry has suggested that a yet-unnamed government agency was allegedly spying on President Trump and his family during his first term in the White House.

In a brief statement posted to X, formerly known as Twitter, Sperry wrote, “Another major Cabinet agency collected sensitive data on Trump & his family during his presidency, despite having no authority to do so. Details to come…”

President Trump has historically insisted that Hillary Clinton and radical left power players “spied” on his campaign in 2016. This spring, the long-awaited report from Special Counsel John Durham appeared to strongly confirm the president’s claim.

Preceding Durham’s final filing, the special counsel asserted in 2022 that Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign spied on President Trump by infiltrating servers at Trump Tower and, later, the White House.

The allegations of spying on a sitting president of the United States are truly shocking – and yet Clinton has faced virtually no legal scrutiny in the wake of Durham’s damning information.

Paul Sperry recently published an article on RCI that explained the FBI’s alleged wrongful use of FISA applications to spy on President Trump’s former advisor, Carter Page, between 2016 and 2017. He reported that the FBI had justified their spying by using a “verified” rumor that Trump was cooperating with the Kremlin in 2016 to “swing the election in Trump’s favor.”

However, on the heels of the final Durham report, Americans are now aware that the government “possessed no verified intelligence reflecting that Trump or the Trump campaign was involved in a conspiracy or collaborative relationship with officials of the Russian government.”

Despite this lack of evidence, the FBI launched the infamous Crossfire Hurricane in 2016. Multiple mainstream media outlets and, most prominently, then-presidential candidate Hillary Clinton strongly repeated the now-debunked lie that President Trump was colluding with Russian entities.
