San Francisco 49ers star Nick Bosa expressed his support for President Donald Trump during a postgame interview on Sunday night.

Bosa, a top NFL defensive end, interrupted an NBC postgame interview with his teammates, pointing to his MAGA hat in the brief appearance.

“Alright, Nick Bosa with a message there,” the host commented in response to the unplanned appearance.

“Nick Bosa just crashed the 49er post game interview to point to his ‘Make America Great Again’ hat. I honestly think Trump is winning majority of people athlete votes this year,” Outkick founder Clay Travis posted to X.

Comedian Tim Young added his comments on the impact of the brief scene on NFL’s Sunday Night Football.

“It’s not just that Nick Bosa crashed the post game with his MAGA hat… It’s that everyone else around him enjoyed it. The tide has turned,” he wrote.

Bosa later doubled down on his support during an interview with reporters.

“I’m not gonna talk too much about it, but I think it’s an important time,” he said.

Bosa is not the only NFL star to recently express support for Trump. As RSBN reported, Trump’s campaign announced that former Green Bay Packers legend Brett Favre will appear as a special speaker at his rally on Wednesday in Wisconsin.

Favre started as Green Bay’s quarterback from 1992 to 2007, leading the NFL team to two Super Bowls and receiving three MVP awards.

“My Vote is for what makes this country great, freedom of speech and religion, the second amendment, hard-working tax-paying citizens, police and military,” Favre wrote in his past endorsement of Trump on X.

“In this election, we have freedom of choice, which all should respect. For me and these principles, my vote is for [Trump],” he added.

The former NFL great also spoke out in support of Trump last year during a podcast with Jason Whitlock.

“I think our country was in better shape with him,” Favre said. “I think Donald was a non-political president, and I liked that about him. Was he perfect? Absolutely not. Am I perfect? Absolutely not. I’m flawed just like the rest of ’em. We’re all flawed. But I really felt like he had our country in a better place and really cared about our people in our country.

“Black, White, Hispanic, Asian — you name it. I think if you were an American citizen, he cared about you, first and foremost. I don’t know if our current president has the same mentality.”
