On the heels of a mega rally held in Wildwood, New Jersey, President Trump is gaining more traction than ever in critical battleground states ahead of the November 2024 presidential election.

On Saturday, Trump held a MAGA rally on the Jersey Shore, drawing a reported crowd of 100,000 people in a deep “blue” state. The event provided a glimpse into how broadly support for his campaign has flourished over the past two years.

Trump told the massive audience over the weekend that he was looking to expand the electoral map in 2024, revealing heavy plays for states like New Jersey, Minnesota, and Virginia. “He’s SO BAD [Joe Biden], I think we’re going to win ’em ALL!” he said.

Now, a mainstream poll from The New York Times has shown that the 45th president is leading in five swing states with just six months to go until the general election. Key findings revealed that Trump was leading Joe Biden in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Michigan, Georgia, and Nevada.

The poll was conducted by the NYT along with Siena College and the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Among registered voters of their respective parties, Trump also leads heavily in battleground states – 49 percent to Biden’s 42 percent in Arizona, for example, demonstrated this gap. Likely Republican voters in the Grand Canyon State also supported Trump at 49 percent, while likely Democrat voters supported Biden at 43 percent.

Another interesting finding from the NYT poll was that 70 percent of U.S. voters “believe that Mr. Trump will either bring major changes to the political or economic system or tear down the systems altogether, compared with 24 percent who expect the same from Mr. Biden.”

It seems clear that Americans are hoping for a president who will implement positive change and veer away from the same old policies driving economic pressures and unrest in the Middle East and Europe.
