President Trump this week echoed the sentiments of many concerned Americans who have come to doubt the integrity of U.S. election processes over the last few years, highlighting a double standard of treatment between “CHEATERS” and those who look to “FIND THE CHEATERS.”
On Truth Social, the president explained, “IF YOU CHEAT ON ELECTIONS IN TODAY’S FAILING USA, YOU HAVE NO PROBLEM. IF YOU LOOK TO FIND THE CHEATERS, THEY INDICT YOU & CALL YOU A CONSPIRACY THEORIST. ONLY IN AMERICA!”
This is not the first time that President Trump has decried election problems in the United States. Last week, he warned that cheating was the biggest threat against U.S. elections today.
As reported by RSBN, Trump remarked during a speech at South Dakota’s GOP “Monumental Leaders Rally” that Americans needed to be “so careful” and “make sure they don’t cheat because they are cheaters, and that’s the biggest fear…”
However, the president remained optimistic, emphasizing that the “momentum” of the MAGA movement was “unprecedented and, hopefully, unstoppable…” He was referring to the upcoming 2024 presidential election.
In a recent sit-down interview with Megyn Kelly, the president addressed this issue. He explained that in 2020, “they used Covid to cheat.”
Kelly asked how 2024 could be trusted to be a safe and fair election when Trump has repeatedly pointed out that the 2020 presidential election was “rigged.”
He replied, “We have unbelievable people who are going to be fighting like hell…if I don’t win this election, I think our country is finished.”
Despite that ominous warning, he noted that he believed people were “going to vote in numbers like they’ve never seen before.”
Amid the chaos surrounding the upcoming 2024 presidential election, Trump has remained even-keeled on the issue of election integrity, emphasizing his message, “Make America great again.”
“You have to do the right thing, and that makes you controversial,” he told Kelly.
