Joe Biden has done immense damage to the nation during his first term. America is now a nation in decline due to Biden’s disastrous policies. Biden refuses to admit his many failures and blames President Donald Trump for the nation’s rapid decline.
Just recently, as reported by Newsweek, Biden’s 2024 campaign team said in a statement: “Donald Trump has been telling us exactly what he will do if he’s reelected and tonight he said he will be a dictator on day one. Americans should believe him.”
This, like many of his other efforts, is just another example of baseless fearmongering by a desperate president who is rapidly turning America into a police state/dictatorship.
Origin of dictator comment
Biden’s talking point stems from Trump’s recent town hall with Sean Hannity, where Hannity asked Trump, “Under no circumstances, you are promising America tonight, you would never abuse power as retribution against anybody?”
In response, Trump said, “Except for day one. I want to close the border and I want to drill, drill, drill.” Trump later said, “I love this guy, he says, ‘you’re not going to be a dictator are you?’ I said no, no, no, other than day one. We’re closing the border and we’re drilling, drilling, drilling. After that, I’m not a dictator.”
Trump’s record easily puts this label to rest
While Biden and the Democrats desperately hurl baseless attacks against Trump, Trump’s record speaks for itself and easily puts to rest efforts to portray him as a so-called “dictator.”
To begin, Trump and his MAGA movement are about making America great again by putting American interests first and protecting or defending the Constitution and the rule of law.
During his first term, America was a thriving nation due to Trump’s many accomplishments, which included eradicating the Affordable Care Act and repealing the individual mandate, passing and signing comprehensive tax reform, and implementing policies that led to a reduction in illegal immigration.
Internationally, President Trump was also successful in exerting pressure on countries such as North Korea and Iran, canceling the terrible Iran nuclear deal, re-establishing America’s credibility around the world, and taking tough measures against China.
Further, Trump’s administration enjoyed appointing many conservative judges (including several to the Supreme Court), implementing policies that resulted in a strong economy, continued economic growth, and lower unemployment, enacting legislation that focused on our military and that took care of our veterans, and facilitating peace deals between various countries in the Middle-East and Israel.
In “Trump’s America,” police officers were also cherished and respected, and Americans’ constitutional rights were protected, including the right to bear arms and the right to speak freely.
Trump’s record shreds any efforts to label him as a potential modern-day dictator. As a matter of fact, during Trump’s first term, Democrats tried their best to portray “Trump’s America” as one of divisiveness, racism, hate, and violence.
These efforts, like the current one, were merely a smokescreen resulting from their deep-rooted hatred of Trump and their efforts to salvage a failing party and its many failed policies. In reality, “Trump’s America” put America and Americans first and was (and continues to be) far removed from the actions of an alleged “dictator.”
Biden’s America more closely resembles a dictatorship/police state
While Biden attempts to paint Trump’s potential second term as a dictatorship, “Biden’s America” and the administration’s various policies more closely resemble or mimic the dictatorship police state they erroneously try to pin on Trump.
Under Biden’s administration, people who enter the country illegally are given as many, if not more, rights than American citizens. In Biden’s America, the Constitution and various laws of this nation are utilized to further the Democrats’ agenda. They are weaponized or ignored when needed to “take down” a political opponent and some of those who are close to him/her.
In Biden’s America, the right to free speech is severely curtailed, specific political viewpoints are shut down, and “truth police” govern what is “accurate” or “truthful” and what is deemed to be “fake news.” People are punished for merely speaking out against or contesting election results or refusing to abide by the administration’s many woke policies for religious or other purposes.
In Biden’s America, certain personal medical decisions belong not to the individual but to the government. The right to bear arms should also be subject to more intense government “regulation” and should be significantly limited and eroded. Additionally, the word of the nation’s highest court means very little if it possibly interferes with the administration’s agenda, such as forgiving certain types of student debt or extending the eviction moratorium.
These policies, among others, should concern all Americans. They reflect a disdain for the rule of law, the Constitution, and the freedoms that Americans enjoyed and cherished just three years ago at the hands of an administration and party that are rapidly turning America into a police state or dictatorship.
Trump’s dictator for a day comment is merely a way of saying that he will immediately and rapidly reverse Biden’s dangerous and damaging policies regarding immigration and oil (energy) on his first day in office. This should be commended and is consistent with Trump’s unrelenting and continued vow to put America and Americans first.
While Biden and the Democrats continue to engage in desperate and baseless fearmongering, objective Americans see through this ruse.
Trump is not a dictator.
Rather, he loves America and the American people and is risking everything to save this rapidly declining nation.
