Just a day before the first presidential debate against President Joe Biden, President Donald Trump circulated an ad that appeared to signal a unified America.

In a nearly minute-long ad posted to Truth Social, Trump can be heard speaking to a crowd about the “final battle” of the 2024 election. Clips show a montage of Trump at rallies surrounded by voters, and the 45th president speaks to viewers about America.

“2024 — It’s our final battle. We’re either going to have a country greater than ever before or we’re not going to have a country at all and we’re ready for it. Are we ready? We’re ready,” Trump said.

He continued, “You must never forget this nation does not belong to them. This nation belongs to you. This is your home, this is your heritage, and our American Liberty is your God-given right.”

Trump and Biden are expected to set off on the much anticipated first 90-minute debate on Thursday evening hosted by CNN. While the two are expected to discuss policies, nationwide polls have indicated that the leaders are in a dead-even fight.

In a June poll conducted by Morning Consult, Biden and Trump are tied with a dead even 42 percent, with 8 percent claiming they’ll vote for someone else, and 4 percent were still undecided, according to the data. While the two are also pulling over 80 percent within their own parties, data shows that Trump is 3 points ahead with Independents over Biden as he sits at 37 percent, with Biden at 34 percent, other candidates at 18 percent, and 11 percent still undecided, according to Morning Consult.
