On Thursday, a grand jury in Manhattan voted to indict President Donald Trump in the case revolving around alleged “hush money” payments made to Stormy Daniels many years ago, according to multiple reports.

Per RSBN, although the allegations have long since been debunked, The New York Times reported that the grand jury still voted to indict the 45th president of the United States.

“This is Political Persecution and Election Interference at the highest level in history,” Trump wrote in an official statement. “From the time I came down the golden escalator at Trump Tower, and even before I was sworn in as your President of the United States, the Radical Left Democrats – the enemy of the hard-working men and women of this Country – have been engaged in a Witch-Hunt to destroy the Make America Great Again movement.”

Despite the ongoing weaponization of the justice system, President Trump has continued to stand strong against the onslaught of attacks. As soon as the news broke on Thursday that the president would be indicted, countless patriotic Americans voiced their support for Trump, taking to social media to issue statements in his defense.

“This is a dark moment in the history of our nation,” Trump ally Kari Lake wrote. “As the radical left and their weaponized criminal justice system have crossed all legal and ethical lines in an attempt to destroy the 45th and likely 47th President of the United State of America Donald J. Trump…. This political prosecution should receive bipartisan condemnation. The precedent this sets threatens to further divide a country that already seems to be on the verge of tearing itself apart. I stand unequivocally beside President Donald J Trump and in defense of the rule of law. I am calling on all others to do the same.”

Dan Scavino, the former White House Deputy Chief of Staff and Assistant to President Trump, released a moving video of President Trump with solemn prose from Edgar A. Guest:

“The test of a man is how much he will bear for a cause which he knows to be right. How long will he stand in the depths of despair? How much will he suffer and fight? There are many to serve when the victory is near and few are the hurts to be borne , but it calls for a leader of courage, to cheer the men in the battle forlorn. It is the way you hold out against odds that are great that proves what your courage is worth. It is the way that you stand to the bruises of fate that shows up your stature and girth. And victory’s nothing but proof of your skill, veneered with a glory that’s thin, unless it is a proof of unfaltering will, and unless you have suffered to win.”

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., also reacted to the news on Twitter, striking back against the two-tiered standard of justice.

She wrote, “Impeach Biden. He’s given us every reason and the family banking records and more are giving us receipts. But now that the gloves are off.. Prosecute any and all crimes. Enough of this witch hunt bullshit.”

Trump-endorsed Sen. J.D. Vance, R-Ohio, stated on social media, “A week ago a video circulated of a lunatic harassing a family on a New York subway. He hurled racial slurs (the family was white) and threatened them. Alvin Bragg thinks that man should walk free and Donald Trump should go to jail for a fake misdemeanor. It’s despicable.”

Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., also condemned the Manhattan grand jury’s vote, sharing a statement on Twitter: “Alvin Bragg has irreparably damaged our country in an attempt to interfere in our Presidential election. As he routinely frees violent criminals to terrorize the public, he weaponized our sacred system of justice against President Donald Trump. The American people will not tolerate this injustice, and the House of Representatives will hold Alvin Bragg and his unprecedented abuse of power to account.”
