Following the SOTU, 62 percent of audience members polled said that the president’s economic and immigration polices would move the country in the right direction.
Breaking records with the longest SOTU address in U.S. history, the president’s nearly two-hour message to Americans touted the arrival of the nation’s “Golden Age.”
President Trump spent much of the address celebrating his administration’s accomplishments, citing improvements in the economy, immigration, and social issues.
Over 32.6 million viewers watched the State of the Union, according to Nielsen.
