President Trump, America First leaders respond to Biden calling conservatives ‘garbage’

President Donald Trump and other America First leaders are criticizing President Joe Biden for calling their supporters “garbage.”

During an interview on CNN Tuesday, Biden responded to an off-color joke that comedian Tony Hinchcliffe said about Puerto Rico during Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally.

Instead of criticizing the writer of the joke or the joke itself, Biden defended Puerto Ricans and said, “The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters.”

Turning Point USA Founder and CEO Charlie Kirk shared a clip of the comment and wrote, “A comedian at a Trump rally made a bad joke about Puerto Rico being a pile of garbage. Then, the current President countered by calling 80 million Americans HE IS RESPONSIBLE for, “garbage.”

“Which will the media cover more?” he asked.

Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla, posted to X and stated, “Obama called us clingers. Hillary called us deplorables. Kamala calls us fascists. And Biden just called us garbage. They don’t respect us & don’t want unity. But we do.”

“We want to Make America Great Again, he added, “Our coalition is for ALL AMERICANS. And in 7 days, we will UNITE AMERICA.”

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., said, “As a Republican member of Congress, I’ve met with many of my constituents who are Democrats, Libertarians, NPA, and Independents. I would NEVER call them garbage.”

Trump responded to Biden’s comment during his Pennsylvania rally Tuesday night. “Remember Hillary, she said deplorable, and then she said irredeemable.”

“Garbage, I think is worse, right?”

He then asked his supporters to “please forgive” Biden. “For he not knoweth what he said.”

“And I’m convinced that he likes me more than he likes Kamala,” Trump concluded.
