President Trump earns glowing praise from world leaders who recognize his ‘visionary’ peace efforts

President Donald Trump was the man of the hour – or perhaps the century – on Monday as he flew to Israel and addressed the Knesset amid his historic Gaza peace plan, and then traveled to Egypt to attend a Middle East peace ceremony celebrating and elevating this historic moment.

President Trump spoke in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, discussing the return of the Israeli hostages by Hamas, which was made possible thanks to his administration’s tireless pursuit of peace.

“Together, we have achieved what everybody said was impossible, and at long last, we have peace in the Middle East,” he said.

Standing behind him onstage was an assembly of the world’s most well-known leaders, like Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, and Middle Eastern leaders like Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.

President Trump’s remarks were interspersed with moments of high praise from fellow world leaders who highlighted his sincerity and authenticity in pursuing peace above all else.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi expressed “profound appreciation” for the president’s work, and noted that Trump had demonstrated “genuine leadership” in bringing the bloodshed between Gaza and Israel to a halt.

“Let Gaza be the last of the wars in the Middle East,” el-Sisi commented.

An impactful moment unfolded when President Trump invited Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to offer comments on the situation. Sharif described Monday’s peace deal as “one of the greatest days in contemporary history.”

He continued, “Peace has been achieved after undying efforts – efforts led by President Trump, who is genuinely a man of peace, who has relentlessly and untiringly worked throughout these months, day in, and day out, to make this world a place to live in peace and prosperity.”

Just a handful of months ago, President Donald Trump assisted in brokering a critical ceasefire between Pakistan and India – both nuclear powers.

Prime Minister Sharif highlighted these recent events and said he was nominating President Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize “because I genuinely feel that he is the most genuine and most wonderful candidate for the peace prize because he has brought not only peace in South Asia, [which] saved millions of people…today, here in Sharm El-Sheikh, achieving peace in Gaza is saving millions of lives in the Middle East.”

Sharif said he saluted President Trump for his “exemplary leadership, visionary leadership, and I think that you’re the man this world needed most at this point in time – the world will always remember you.”

He concluded, “God bless you, [may] he give you a long life to serve like this for all time to come.”
