President Donald Trump is projected to win in North Carolina, according to Decision Desk HQ, winning the state’s critical 16 Electoral College votes against Vice President Kamala Harris.

North Carolina, a long-time swing state, narrowly went to Trump in 2020 by 1.3 percentage points (50 to 48.7 percent).

The state was one of the most crucial swing states of the 2024 cycle, with both Trump and Harris ramping up campaign appearances in recent weeks.

The projected victory adds to 195 projected electoral votes for Trump in other states as Americans continue to await the winner of the 2024 presidential campaign. Other swing states still undecided include Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
