President Donald Trump pushed back Sunday against reports of Republican divisions over a draft Ukraine peace proposal and other recent controversies, issuing a broad defense of party unity while singling out several lawmakers who criticized his Ukraine peace plan.

“The Republican Party has never been so UNITED AS IT iS RIGHT NOW!” President Trump wrote in a Truth Social post Sunday night, accusing the media of misreading comments by GOP lawmakers, including Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky. and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga.

“Other than Rand Paul, Rand Paul Jr. (Massie!), Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown, and a couple of other ‘lowlifes,’ and other than the fact that many want the Election threatening Filibuster TERMINATED (the Dems will do it in the first minute of their first chance!), and some don’t, there is great spirit and cohesion,” he continued.

The president said the moment is one of growing Republican strength as his second term continues to add numerous wins, arguing that the GOP’s base has expanded significantly.

“Plus, the Republican Party is MUCH BIGGER than it was when I announced in 2015 or, ever was before – Many Millions More Members!” he said. The president went on to highlight key accomplishments of his administration, including border security, tax cuts, economic performance and stock market gains.

“BUT, THE BEST IS YET TO COME! VOTE REPUBLICAN!!!” he added.

In a separate post to Truth Social early Monday, President Trump wrote, “Is it really possible that big progress is being made in Peace Talks between Russia and Ukraine??? Don’t believe it until you see it, but something good just may be happening. GOD BLESS AMERICA!”

The statements came as some Republicans voiced concerns over elements of a developing Ukraine plan, prompting speculation about internal divisions. President Trump insisted the disagreements represent a small minority and argued that the party remains aligned behind his leadership heading into 2026.
