President Trump has revealed an updated travel itinerary for the brand-new Air Force One. Speaking with reporters at the NATO conference in Ankara, Turkey, he revealed that the plane would travel to Mildenhall Air Base in the United Kingdom for a tour by U.S. military members.

“We have it going to Europe to a couple of bases so the soldiers can see it because it’s truly magnificent,” President Trump said.

President Trump followed up his comments with a post on Truth Social, announcing the plane would be made available for tours at the base.

“To honor our brave men and women of the Military, we are sending the brand new, and truly spectacular, Air Force One to Mildenhall Air Force Base, in the United Kingdom, to give them a chance to tour the Aircraft,” President Trump said. “Everybody is so excited, and we thought that they should be the first.”

The Boeing 747-B plane was donated by the Qatari royal family in May, 2025 and is worth an estimated $400 million. President Trump accepted the gift and directed the Department of Defense to make the necessary technical and security upgrades that would allow it to serve as the official Air Force One. The former Air Force One was built in 1990 and used by six former presidents.

President Trump revealed that he would travel aboard the former Air Force One, from the NATO Summit in Turkey to Mildenhall.

“For old time’s sake, we’ll be taking the former Air Force One, from Turkey to Mildenhall, a short trip that is totally worth doing in order to give our Great Military Heroes a chance to appreciate our beautiful new addition to the Air Force Fleet!” President Trump said.
