President Donald Trump weighed in on whether he thought former first lady Jill Biden was actually in charge of the White House during a reported “cover up” of her husband’s declining mental health.

When asked by Fox Noticias host Rachel Campos-Duffy whether he believed Dr. Biden was her husband’s “autopen,” the president told her during an exclusive interview that he did not believe so.

“No, I don’t think so,” President Trump said.

However, referencing her attendance at Biden’s final meeting with his Cabinet, President Trump suggested that “she was certainly involved because he gave her the last meeting to preside over.”

Instead, President Trump credited the influence of Biden to “radical left lunatics” rather than just the former first lady.

“They [the Biden administration] had a lot of bad people. They had a lot of radical left lunatics in there, and I think he was perfect,” said the president. “[Biden] was perfect for them because he didn’t have a clue.”

Since Biden left the White House, more reports and books have emerged suggesting that his mental health was seriously declining during his presidency.

Notably, Biden’s June 2024 presidential debate performance against President Trump sparked even more reports that he was unfit for office, leaving many within his own party calling on him to drop out of the race.

According to Biden’s former chief of staff, Ron Klain, the former president’s mental acuity was concerning even before he debated President Trump. Even more alarming, if Biden was unable to campaign, his ability to then serve as president for the remainder of his term was also called into question.

House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., spoke to these rumors during a podcast in January, claiming that during a meeting with Biden in 2024, the former president “genuinely didn’t know what [executive orders] he had signed.”

When asked by Johnson why he had frozen new liquid natural gas export permits, Biden replied that he “didn’t do that,” according to the speaker.

“Sir, you paused it, I know,” the speaker told Biden. “I have the export terminals in my state. I talked to those people in my state, I’ve talked to those people this morning, this is doing massive damage to our economy, national security.”

Biden continually denied this, but then remembered he signed the executive order, which he said was simply to study the effects of the fuel, according to the New York Post.

“I walked out of that meeting with fear and loathing because I thought, ‘We are in serious trouble—who is running the country?'” Johnson said. “Like, I don’t know who put the paper in front of him, but [Biden] didn’t know.”

President Trump previously suggested that Biden administration officials were running the country by using an “autopen” device, replicating Joe Biden’s signature to sign orders on his behalf, and that the former president was completely unaware of this.

He also claimed that Biden’s last-minute pardons of his family members, Dr. Anthony Fauci, and Jan. 6 House Committee members were “VOID, VACANT, AND OF NO FURTHER FORCE OR EFFECT” because they were “done by Autopen.”

“Joe Biden did not sign them but, more importantly, he did not know anything about them,” he posted to Truth Social last month. “The necessary Pardoning Documents were not explained to, or approved by, Biden. He knew nothing about them, and the people that did may have committed a crime.”
