President Trump emerged from the courtroom and spoke to the media on Wednesday after the jury concluded its first day of deliberations in the New York hush money trial.

He immediately remarked on the continued interference with his campaign efforts, referring to the trial as “the Biden witch hunt.” He told reporters, “Take a look at where the people come from. It’s a Biden witch hunt. It’s weaponization.”

He pointed out that the prosecution avoided calling certain people to testify “because they would have been very bad witnesses for them.”

Trump stopped short of listing names “because of the gag order,” but noted, “You have a lot of big players, very big players, that would have solved their problem, or actually would have given us the win. We already have the win. If we had a fair judge, this case would have been over a long time ago.”

The 45th president continued, “The other thing, the confusion is, nobody knows what the crime is because there’s no crime.”

He concluded his remarks by telling reporters, “It’s a disgrace, this thing ought to be ended immediately. The judge ought to end it and save his reputation.”

President Trump will appear on “The Dan Bongino Show” on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. ET to discuss his experience as the trial comes to a close.

The jury will resume deliberations at 9:30 a.m. ET on Thursday.
