President Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., addressed supporters in Iowa on Tuesday, saying that he wouldn’t completely rule out a presidential run for himself in 2028.

During a final caucus pitch in Iowa for his dad, Trump Jr. and his fiancé Kimberly Guilfoyle delivered a speech to supporters in Ankeny. During the speech, a member of the audience asked Trump Jr. if a presidential run in 2028 was in the cards for him.

Trump Jr. seemed amused by the question and shouted out to Guilfoyle, “Hey princess, are you ready for this?” He laughed with the audience before answering, “Listen, I don’t want to say no,” jokingly adding that if he did say no and later decided to do it, people would say, “Oh my god, he’s a major liar.”

All joking aside, Trump Jr. explained that politics and the MAGA campaign have become his life and his passion, but he feels he can do more on the outside than he could in office.

He explained, “I feel like I can do more outside of that. I don’t have to play by the rules.”

The Daily Mail reported that Trump Jr. explained that the public life of being an open conservative is hard enough and that one needs to be absolutely certain about running for president before doing it.
