While college campuses across the nation ramp up their anti-Israel protests and continue burning Israeli flags, Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, stood in sharp contrast on Wednesday.

“While not a protest, there was an evident contrast between Liberty’s public demonstration on campus and those at other colleges and universities,” reported Lawrence Richard of Fox News.

The Standing for Freedom Center shared the atmosphere on their X account, also stating, “While college students across the country protest in support of terror, @LibertyU students gather to worship the King of Kings.”

The majority of Americans, regardless of their religious beliefs, are growing increasingly frustrated with the liberalness and anti-American sentiment continuing to plague most public universities. Thankfully, the University of Texas at Austin called in state troopers to end the violent assembly at their college campus.

Throughout the country, indoctrinated students, oblivious to U.S. history and foreign policy, are gathering, exposing their hatefulness to Israel, Jews, and democracy. Even Democrats find themselves speaking up against the radicalism that is depicting a hatred towards the Jews, similar to the message heard in Germany during the 1930s.

Benjamin Netanyahu released the following warning, “Anti-Semitism on campuses in the United States is reminiscent of what happened in German universities in the 1930s.”

Although House Speaker Mike Johnson traveled to New York to call for the resignation of Columbia University President Minouche Shafik, clearly more needs to be done.

The far-left has declared MAGA a threat to democracy, yet they seem to ignore the violence and hatred transpiring throughout college campuses nationwide. This, of course, doesn’t come as a surprise, as everyone knows conservatives face an uphill battle in academia outside of a few select universities.

Regardless of your opinion on Israel, including supporting military or foreign aid, the terror attack their nation experienced on October 7th appears to be erased from the memory of these protestors.

University leaders must protect all students, regardless of race, ethnicity, or religious creed. Americans should call on their political leaders, both local and federal, to demand the shutdown of these violent gatherings.

The amount of hatred observed resembles the attacks on law enforcement over the last several years and serves as a sad reality that this spring and summer could be another long, violent few months as we realize American principles continue to be attacked.

The revival happening in Lynchburg has the capacity to garner national attention. It has the potential to unite Americans and highlight the importance of freedom and liberty while proclaiming Christ as King.

The preservation of patriotism depends on recognizing its historical significance and connection to the Christian message of faith, hope, and love.
