Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., blasted the Democrats’ misleading narrative that Joe Biden won the 2020 presidential election as a “Big Lie” during a congressional hearing on the Maricopa County election audit results.
In a hearing held by the House Oversight Committee on Thursday to discuss the Arizona audit, Biggs, an ally of President Trump’s, ripped a question asked by his Democrat colleague, Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md. about if he accepts “this audit which showed that Joe Biden won and indeed by more votes…?”
Biggs swiftly quipped back to the Democrat, “That is NOT what the audit concluded, Mr. Raskin. You know better than that. Have you read the whole audit or did you cherry pick the line which talks about the recount versus the tabulation machines?”
“That, we would’ve expected to be very similar,” Biggs continued.
When Raskin snapped back “Who won the election in Arizona?”, the Arizona congressman replied “We don’t know…the audit it demonstrates very clearly, Mr. Raskin, that there are a lot of issues with this election that took place. We’re going to go through those today.”
“Speaking of the Big Lie, you can continue to perpetuate it all you want!” Biggs fired at Raskin.
