A bombshell report released last week details a shocking discovery on how the federal government allegedly colluded with four private groups to target social media posts during the 2020 election.

The discovery, first reported by Just the News, revealed that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) allegedly worked with four private groups to target and censor multiple social media posts they deemed as “misinformation” during the 2020 election. Once Biden took office, his administration reportedly awarded the groups millions of federal dollars for their efforts.

Standford Internet Observatory (SIO), the University of Washington’s Center for an Informed Public, the Atlantic Council’s Digital Forensic Research Lab, and social media analytics firm Graphika made up the Election Integrity Partnership (EIP) that allowed federal agencies, like the Cybersecurity Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and Global Engagement Center, to file “tickets” calling for specific social media posts and online story links to be censored, the outlet stated.

According to the EIP’s 2021 report, 639 “in-scope tickets” were processed, and 72 percent of those “were related to delegitimizing the election results.” Moreover, “EIP monitoring intensified significantly” the week before and after Election Day.

Similarly, social media platforms took action on 35 percent of flagged content by the EIP, with the content being labeled, removed, or soft-blocked, Just the News reported.

Besides social media posts, the EIP also targeted multiple conservative-leaning news outlets. Just the News, New York Post, Fox News, The Epoch Times, Washington Examiner, Washington Times, and Breitbart were among the 20 “most prominent domains across election integrity incidents” cited in tweets flagged by the EIP, according to the outlet.
