In the days since the historic Arizona rally during which Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. joined the stage with President Donald Trump to announce they had joined forces to Make America Great and Healthy Again, his running mate Nicole Shanahan has shared her concerns about the justice system.

Over the last year and a half of Kennedy’s campaign, he and Shanahan have multiple legal battles with the Democratic National Committee (DNC).

In a Tuesday post on X, Shanahan shared a media broadcast outlining Special Counsel Jack Smith’s latest indictment of Trump.

She captioned the post with, “I’ll admit I used to kind of roll my eyes when people claimed that President Trump was being “persecuted.” I was looking at it through the distorted filter of the media. Well, I just completed my first cross-examination in our second New York Ballot Access case, where the DNC-aligned PAC attorneys questioned me like a criminal. OK, I get it now. Our justice system is clearly being co-opted and abused by nefarious people with malevolent political agendas.”

Trump shared Shanahan’s remarks in a Truth Social post, giving a clear indication that the newly formed dynamic duo is playing hardball when it comes to exposing the politicization and weaponization of the federal government.

On Tuesday, Smith brought a superseding indictment against Trump, charging him with the same four charges he is already facing for questioning the results of the 2020 presidential election.

Smith tweaked the indictment to comply with the Supreme Court’s ruling that the president is immune from prosecution for official acts.

Trump slammed Smith and the Department of Justice (DOJ) for attempting to interfere with the upcoming presidential election.

In a series of Truth Social posts, the 45th president detailed the “Witch Hunt” against him and called for the case to be “dismissed immediately.”

He also questioned the DOJ for taking an action like this so close to the election and argued that the move was “A direct assault on Democracy!”
