President Donald Trump may be poised to announce a 2024 presidential bid tonight at the final stop of a year’s worth of Save America rallies in Vandalia, Ohio, as he stumps for endorsed GOP Senate nominee JD Vance, some sources are reporting.
The president has long teased a potential presidential run, but he has remained ambiguous as to when he would announce his decision.
Last week, Trump told rallygoers in Sioux City, Iowa, that he would “very, very, very probably do it again, okay?”
The crowd went wild with the foreshadowing, driving chants of and cheers of support.
On Monday morning, Richard Grenell, the former director of National Intelligence during the Trump administration, cryptically tweeted, “I’d watch the Ohio rally if I were you…”
According to a post from the Washington Examiner, Trump may be looking at announcing a presidential bid tonight. Per the outlet, Axios reporter Jonathan Swan tweeted the following:
“Based calls/texts all morning, Trump/Vance rally in Ohio will be v closely watched by Rs. Speculation has reached a point of absurdity at this point but many Rs of varying degrees of closeness to Trump are anticipating accelerated announcement based on his recent private comments.”
As previously reported by RSBN, a Newsmax report last week suggested that Trump may have reportedly settled on Nov. 14 as a potential date to announce a presidential run, but it is unclear if that will happen.
If the president announces a bid tonight in Ohio, it might be the political shot heard around the world on the eve of a historic midterm election season where Republicans are poised to take back control of Congress.
RSBN will provide LIVE coverage of President Trump’s anticipated remarks in Vandalia, Ohio, TONIGHT.
