Journalist Savannah Guthrie is offering a whopping $1 million reward for any information that may lead to the return of her 84-year-old mother, Nancy Guthrie, who went missing 24 days ago.
The story has both perplexed and shocked the nation. Guthrie, an elderly woman who lives alone, was allegedly abducted from her home just outside of Tucson, Arizona, on February 1, 2025.
Her disappearance has been an endless mystery for law enforcement and federal investigators, who have been unable to locate the elderly Ms. Guthrie so far.
In a video posted online, Savannah Guthrie noted that it had been 24 days since her mother had been taken “in the dark of night from her bed.”
“We also know that she may be lost,” Guthrie acknowledged. “She may already be gone. She may have already gone home to the Lord that she loves, and is dancing in heaven with her mom and her dad, and with her beloved brother, Pierce, and with our daddy. “And if this is what is to be, then we will accept it. But we need to know where she is. We need her to come home. For that reason, we are offering a family reward of up to $1 million for any information that leads us to her recovery.”
President Donald Trump recently said that he would ask the Department of Justice to seek the death penalty for anyone who is found responsible for the abduction of the elderly Ms. Guthrie, RSBN previously reported.
There have been no arrests so far in the investigation related to Ms. Guthrie’s disappearance. The FBI has previously offered a $50,000 reward for information leading to her rescue or the arrest and conviction of anyone associated with the alleged abduction.
In early February, the FBI released surveillance footage from Ms. Guthrie’s front porch. The footage revealed a masked individual wearing a backpack and gloves just outside the front door. Still, the publication of these images and videos has not yielded any viable leads or suspects thus far.
