Second Lady Usha Vance announced on Tuesday that she and Vice President JD Vance are expecting their fourth child.
“We’re very happy to share some exciting news. Our family is growing!” the second lady shared in a post on X.
The official statement from the Vance family revealed that the couple is expecting a boy, due in July.
“We’re very excited to share the news that Usha is pregnant with our fourth child, a boy,” said the Vice President and Second Lady. “Usha and the baby are doing well, and we are all looking forward to welcoming him in late July.”
The Vance family continued by thanking doctors and staff members for the support and care they have provided.
“During this exciting and hectic time, we are particularly grateful for the military doctors who take excellent care of our family and for the staff members who do so much to ensure that we can serve the country while enjoying a wonderful life with our children.”
The newest addition to the Vance family will join their three children, Ewan (8), Vivek (5), and Mirabel (4).
The couple received many congratulations on social media, including an official post from the White House on X, which stated, “The most pro-family administration in history! CONGRATULATIONS!”
Tulsi Gabbard, Director of National Intelligence, also took to social media to congratulate the second couple. In a post on X, Gabbard celebrated the announcement. “Congratulations to our friends @JD Vance and @SLOTUS on this wonderful news,” Gabbard said. “Abraham and I are thrilled for you and your family.”
