Secretary of Health Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (RFK Jr.) has teamed up with Kid Rock to help Americans get in shape.

RFK Jr. posted to X, noting that their message is simple, “GET ACTIVE + EAT REAL FOOD.”

Proper diet and exercise have long been advised to maintain health, but doing so has become increasingly difficult as the food industry has embraced unknown additives and practices. The National Institutes of Health published a 2019 study confirming that highly processed foods increase appetite and reduce energy expenditure, making exercise more difficult.

During an interview shared by the White House Rapid Response 47 team on X, Secretary Kennedy stated that “70 percent of Americans are either obese or overweight, and it’s not because they got indolent or because we became lazy, or because we suddenly developed giant appetites, it’s because we’re being given food that is low in nutrition and high in calories and it’s making us…it’s destroying our health.”

This had led to the launch of a new government website: https://realfood.gov/. This site focuses on encouraging Americans to eat real foods that are not processed. It notes that 50 percent of Americans have diabetes or pre diabetes, 75 percent of American adults have at least one chronic health condition, and 90 percent of healthcare spending is used to treat chronic disease.

“America is sick. The data is clear,” the site states. “Real food can solve this crisis.”

RFK Jr. and Kid Rock are now spreading this message and motivating others to eat healthy, unprocessed foods and exercise to Make America Healthy Again.
