With just 15 days until the 2024 presidential election, President Donald Trump’s campaign has narrowed its focus to registering new voters and encouraging everyone to vote. And it’s working.
In a Monday morning Truth Social post, the 45th president wrote, “Good morning Pennsylvania. Today is the last day for Pennsylvanians to register to vote! If you want to End Inflation, Stop the Invasion, and Save the Nation we love, then register now and VOTE EARLY!”
He linked to the Republican National Committee’s (RNC) Swamp the Vote website, which provides voters with one-click options to request a ballot, check voter registration details, pledge to vote early or on election day and a list of voting options.
EarlyVoteAction founder Scott Preslar has spent the last several years registering voters in battleground states, particularly Pennsylvania. On Monday, Preslar provided an update on the progress in a post on X, formerly Twitter. He reported that just one week ago, Democrats were at a 312,725-voter registration advantage, but as of Monday morning, that lead had shrunk to just 297,673 voters.
Preslar pointed out that when inactive voters are removed, the Democrats had just a 130,848-voter registration advantage, which he called “A POLITICAL EARTHQUAKE.”
The campaign’s efforts have also been reflected in many of the latest polls. A Trafalgar Group Pennsylvania poll released on Sunday showed Trump with a 3-point advantage over Harris.
A nationwide poll conducted by TIPP and released on Monday showed Trump with a one percent lead over Harris. An Atlas Intel poll released on Saturday showed Trump up by three and two points in Michigan and Georgia, respectively.
Trump also recently received several big-name endorsements that could help lead more voters to the polls. During his Saturday rally in Pennsylvania, former Pittsburgh Steelers stars Antonio Brown, Le’Veon Bell and Mike Wallace took the stage with Trump and offered their resounding endorsements.
Brown told the crowd, “Let’s vote for Trump, baby! Make some noise for the President!” Bell took his turn at the podium with a big smile on his face and said, “Let’s go Trump, y’all already know, vote Trump, let’s go!”
