Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, gave President Donald Trump his full endorsement on Tuesday.

In 2016, Cruz beat President Trump at the Iowa caucus. He stated during an interview on Fox News, posted to X by the MAGA War Room, that it’s because of this that he knows what is at stake.

He said, “It was a dominating victory for Donald Trump.”

Cruz praised the end results which clearly displayed a majory support for President Trump.

He then added, “Congratulations to President Trump on that dominating victory. And at this point, I believe this race is over. So I am proud to endorse Donald Trump for president of the United States.”

Cruz also noted that it’s time to unite under President Trump in order to beat Joe Biden. He said, “We gotta come together and win.”

“It’s time to move onward to victory in November,” he went on.

When discussing the current political battlefield, he declared, “Look, I don’t see any path to victory for anyone other than Donald Trump.”

RSBN reported that President Trump won by the widest margin of any Republican candidate in history and leads his rivals by at least 30 percent.

During his victory speech in Iowa, he stated, “I really think this is time now for everybody, our country, to come together.”

“It’s just so important and I want to make that a big part of our message. We’re gonna come together,” Trump added.

He also pointed out that despite many holdouts, his win has encouraged various leaders to support him. He said, “Now they’re all calling saying ‘we want to endorse you, sir.’”

Meanwhile, various conservatives are calling for the other candidates to drop out of the race and rally behind President Trump, per the IJR.
