With just 27 days until the presidential election, conservative activists and close allies of President Donald Trump are drilling down on the importance of winning Pennsylvania.
Former 2024 presidential candidate and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy defined what winning the Keystone State would mean as he announced he would be trekking across the state with the 45th president on Wednesday.
“If we win Pennsylvania, that’s the ballgame. Campaigning with President Trump across PA today, starting in Scranton & finishing in Reading. America First all the way.” Ramaswamy wrote in a post on X, formerly Twitter, with an American flag emoji.
White House correspondent for NTD News Iris Tao posted a video of Ramaswamy’s arrival in Scranton. He told the crowd of supporters waiting to get in, “Bring it home. We win Pennsylvania, we win the whole thing.”
Scott Presler, known as ThePersistence on X, reminded Pennsylvanians of the registration deadline. With a Halloween-themed photo, Preslar wrote, “Pennsylvania, you have 13 days left to register to vote.”
Preslar gained notoriety for his commitment to registering Republican voters in swing states, with much of his focus on Pennsylvania.
He founded the PAC Early Vote Action (EVA) in January 2023 which defines itself as “a nationwide group of grassroots activists who dedicate their time, resources, and hard work to achieving this goal in the key swing states of Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.”
In February, Trump remarked on the importance of winning the state. ”We HAVE to win,” Trump told a crowd of guests in Harrisburg at the National Rifle Association Great American Outdoor Show.
He termed Pennsylvania as “one of the most important battleground states in the nation.”
An InsiderAdvantage poll released on Tuesday showed Trump ahead of Harris by two percentage points in the state.
As he departed to rally supporters and win over undecided voters, Trump wrote on Truth Social, “On my way to Scranton, Pennsylvania! Join me LIVE at 3:00PM EDT—Will be RSBN, NewsMax, Real America’s Voice, and Donald J. Trump Rumble, among others. See you soon—MAGA2024!”
Trump is scheduled to speak at 3 p.m. Eastern Time in Scranton and will head to Reading for another rally at 7 p.m.
