The FBI will reportedly brief Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., this Monday as part of the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into the Biden family’s shady business dealings, and in connection to an alleged bribery scheme linked to Joe Biden himself, Trending Politics revealed.
Rep. Comer, who is the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, previously stated that Biden family lawyers had allegedly contacted potential witnesses in the ongoing House probe in an effort to intimidate them from providing testimony.
According to Trending Politics’ report, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., spoke with FBI Director Christopher Wray on the bureau’s failure to produce the committee-requested FD-1023 form, which would provide more detail on intel between FBI agents and their sources.
“Well, I want to be very clear with the FBI director, that Congress has a right, and we have the jurisdiction, to oversee the FBI,” McCarthy stated on Fox News.
He continued, “This is one piece of paper that a chairman of a committee has requested to see. He [Christopher Wray] hasn’t even acknowledged whether he has this document, but he hasn’t even provided it. I explained to the director that we will do everything in our power and that we have the jurisdiction over the FBI, that we have the right to see this document. I believe, after this call, we will get this document.”
According to Trending Politics, Special Counsel John Durham wrote to Rep. Comer on the issue of the requested FD-1023 form that the Oversight Committee is seeking to get their hands on.
“An FD-1023 form documents information as told to a line FBI agent. Recording the information does not validate the information, establish its credibility, or weigh it against other information known or developed by the FBI,” he stated.
As reported by RSBN, the Oversight Committee had revealed that there would be highly credible information coming forth regarding alleged illegal dealings with foreign nationals at the behest of then-Vice President Joe Biden that may have benefitted his family.
