President Donald Trump was cheered on by thousands of supporters in a packed-house Save America rally in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, on Saturday night as he teased a 2024 presidential run. He told the crowd, “We’re leading…by record numbers in the polls, so I may just have to do it again.”
The audience erupted into cheers and leaped to their feet, applauding and showing their overwhelming support for a potential Trump 2024 presidential run.
Further, Trump’s appearance in Pennsylvania was a welcome sight for MAGA voters and conservatives who have been eager to hear straight from the 45th president following the unprecedented raid on his Mar-a-Lago home in August.
Trump also touched on the “evil and malice” of the “demented persecution of YOU and ME” that has been perpetrated by a politicized and weaponized justice system and mainstream media.
“Republicans must get tougher and stronger, and FAST,” he reminded voters.
Trump’s Saturday evening speech touched everything from his administration’s impressive accomplishments to Biden’s divisive Thursday night speech attacking the MAGA movement. “We gave you the largest tax cut and regulation cuts in American history,” he said, reflecting on the Trump administration’s bold economic successes.
By contrast, he pointed out that the Democrats had “just passed one of the largest tax hikes in American history.” He slammed the 87,000 new and armed IRS agents inserted into the Inflation Reduction Act’s legislation. “It’s like an army,” he commented.
Trump also encouraged to vote for Pennsylvania GOP Senate nominee Mehmet Oz and gubernatorial nominee Doug Mastriano ahead of the upcoming November midterm elections.
