President Trump wrote a heartfelt message about his social media platform, Truth Social, on Friday evening as company leadership prepares to take it to the next level.
“I am so proud of Truth Social, because I believe it represents the Make America Great Again Movement, and it shows the Spirit and Love of our Country,” said Trump.
“If people who believe in putting America First, and want to Make America Great Again, support Truth, we will be your Voice like never before, and a Real Voice is what our Country needs because we are in decline, and must bring America to Greatness,” he continued.
President Trump has every reason to be proud of Truth Social, which has emerged victorious from every obstacle it has faced since its launch.
After years of fighting tooth-and-nail with the SEC and paying exorbitant amounts of money, Truth Social finally went public on March 26, just a few days after shareholders approved the merger between parent company Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG) and Digital World Acquisition Corp. The company trades on the Nasdaq under “DJT” in honor of President Trump.
Thanks to the merger, Truth Social is now “very liquid,” with no debt and $200 million cash in the bank. Trump proudly touted this advantage to a crowd of Truth Social executives, investors, and allies during a Mar-a-Lago celebration of the company’s public debut on the Nasdaq.
Under the leadership of TMTG CEO Devin Nunes, the company plans to put that capital to good use right out of the gate with its sights set on launching a new streaming platform. Just three weeks after the company went public, Nunes announced new plans to provide live TV options to Americans, featuring “high-quality news and entertainment that face discrimination by other channels.”
This endeavor not only signals Truth Social’s commitment to innovation but also strengthens its position as a pioneer in free-speech media. It is just the beginning of much more to come from President Trump’s company.
In an inspiring tone, Trump underscored the importance of Truth Social and MAGA: “Think of this as a Movement, the Greatest Movement in the History of our Country. We are going to Save our Country, and Make America Great Again, GREATER THAN EVER BEFORE!”
