President Donald Trump attacked FBI Director Christopher Wray in a social media post on Thursday night after the agency leader said he wasn’t sure if a bullet hit Trump during the assassination attempt in Pennsylvania.

Trump shared the strong words in a Truth Social post that called out Wray’s inaccurate statement.

“FBI Director Christopher Wray told Congress yesterday that he wasn’t sure if I was hit by shrapnel, glass, or a bullet (the FBI never even checked!), but he was sure that Crooked Joe Biden was physically and cognitively ‘uneventful’ – Wrong!” Trump wrote.

“That’s why he knows nothing about the terrorists and other criminals pouring into our Country at record levels,” he added.

Trump continued with criticisms against Wray over his attacks against conservative Americans and supporting the radical left.

“His only focus is destroying J6 Patriots, Raiding Mar-a-Lago, and saving Radical Left Lunatics, like the ones now in D.C. burning American flags and spray painting over our great National Monuments – with zero retribution,” he stated.

The 45th president emphasized the facts of the assassination attempt that included a bullet hitting his ear, an injury confirmed by those treating his injuries.

“No, it was, unfortunately, a bullet that hit my ear, and hit it hard. There was no glass, there was no shrapnel. The hospital called it a ‘bullet wound to the ear,’ and that is what it was,” Trump wrote.

“No wonder the once storied FBI has lost the confidence of America!” he concluded.

Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung also criticized Wray’s comments on the shooting.

“Anyone who believes this conspiracy bulls— is either mentally deficient or willfully peddling falsehoods for political reasons,” Cheung said, according to NBC News.

The FBI released an updated statement on Thursday on the investigation of the assassination attempt against Trump.

“Since the day of the attack, the FBI has been consistent and clear that the shooting was an attempted assassination of former President Trump which resulted in his injury, as well as the death of a heroic father and the injuries of several other victims,” the agency wrote.

“The FBI’s Shooting Reconstruction Team continues to examine evidence from the scene, including bullet fragments, and the investigation remains ongoing,” the statement added.
