The latest poll from Quinnipiac University shows President Trump holding a two-point lead over Joe Biden in the swing state of Pennsylvania.
Quinnipiac University polled 1,725 self-identified registered voters via random digit dialing landlines and cellphones to ensure fair results. In the poll, participants were asked questions about who they would prefer to see elected as president, and the majority in Pennsylvania voted in favor of President Trump.
Participants were asked the question, “If the election for president were being held today, and the candidates were Joe Biden, the Democrat, and Donald Trump, the Republican, for whom would you vote?” The results showed that only 45 percent would vote for Biden, whereas 47 percent would vote for President Trump. Interestingly, four percent of Democrats voted in favor of President Trump.
President Trump performed well not only against Biden but also against other GOP candidates. The poll showed that 61 percent of Republican respondents would vote for President Trump.
This two-point lead marks a pivotal moment for President Trump as the 2016 elections saw a tight race between President Trump and Biden to win over the pivotal swing state. Unfortunately, President Trump lost by the narrowest of margins, and if this poll is anything to go by, President Trump may be looking at a victory in the state.
Breitbart reported what Tim Malloy said about what the polls predict, “Biden vs. Trump: same as it ever was, setting up another likely bare-knuckled brawl between the two candidates in Biden’s home state.”
Current polls from Interactive polls show that President Trump is still ahead of his GOP candidates, and the gap continues to grow wider. National polls show that President Trump has a staggering 56-point lead over Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., who is currently in second place with a nine percent approval rate.
A poll by Marquette Law School also saw President Trump taking the lead over Biden in their national poll. 51 percent of participants would vote for President Trump, while only 48 percent were in Biden’s favor. As per the poll results, President Trump was the preferred choice to tackle issues such as the economy, border security, foreign relations, and inflation.
President Trump rides this momentum as he heads to New Hampshire next week for a campaign event at Kingswood Arts Center. RSBN will be providing live coverage of the event.
