President Trump has once again correctly predicted future events as Hunter Biden, the son of Joe Biden, is reportedly set to plead guilty to three misdemeanor charges brought by the DOJ, multiple sources have revealed.
Hunter Biden, who fell under intense scrutiny in 2020 for the exposed contents of his abandoned laptop, will plead guilty on two tax charges and one gun charge, The New York Times reported.
The Trump campaign pointed out in a statement that the president had predicted Hunter’s milquetoast charges in comments posted to Truth Social earlier this month.
On June 6, he wrote, “They are using the DOJ & FBI against me to Rigg the 2024 Election. They’ll hit Hunter with something small to make their strike on me look ‘fair.’ Nothing about these Fascists is fair or honest. FIGHT!”
Trump additionally remarked during an interview with Roger Stone that the DOJ would “probably come up with a jaywalking charge on Hunter in the not too distant future, you know, a very small charge, so they can say well, ‘It’s fair.’ But that’s a very unfair situation. We’re living in a very, very corrupt country.”
Hunter’s low-level charges come as President Donald Trump is facing 34 felony counts related to allegedly “falsifying” business records in Manhattan and another 37 counts in the ongoing federal “classified documents” probe.
“Wow!” Trump wrote on Truth Social on Tuesday morning, reacting to the news of Hunters’ reported plan to plead guilty. “The corrupt Biden DOJ just cleared up hundreds of years of criminal liability by giving Hunter Biden a mere ‘traffic ticket.’ Our system is BROKEN!”
Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, additionally remarked, “Hunter Biden is getting away with a slap on the wrist when growing evidence uncovered by the House Oversight Committee reveals the Bidens engaged in a pattern of corruption, influence peddling, and possibly bribery.”
