President Trump warned against the staggering $5 trillion spending bill being proposed by Joe Biden and Democrats in Washington during his Iowa rally on Saturday, calling it a “Democrat socialist calamity.”
Trump told the crowd of thousands, “This monstrosity is so dangerous for our country and so bad…it’s a bill to end America as we know it. It’s so bad…Republicans have to stay strong. Stay strong. You have to fight.”
Trump called on Republican lawmakers to fight the infrastructure bill which would likely result in higher taxes across the country. “Congressional Republicans must stand strong,” Trump declared. “This is not a time for Republicans to fold, to walk away…don’t worry about being impeached, don’t worry about anything.” He added that most Republicans “just don’t seem to have a spine – some of them.”
He also told the crowd that this infrastructure bill would raise taxes on American families like never before. “Inflation is taking over our economy, China is taking over our jobs, the Taliban is taking over Afghanistan, lunatic leftists are taking over our schools and radical socialists are taking over our country.”
The 45th president also decried the dangers of the immense spending being proposed by Democrat lawmakers, adding, “We cannot allow America to ever become a socialist country. And I really think it’s a step beyond – I think it’s gonna be a communist country.”
Trump, however, promised the crowd, “We’re not gonna let that happen.”
