Just hours after appearing in Manhattan for his scheduled arraignment on Tuesday after a grand jury voted to indict him last week, President Donald Trump delivered remarks at Mar-a-Lago to a crowd of passionate MAGA supporters.
“The criminal here is the district attorney…,” he declared, pointing out that Bragg had allegedly allowed the 34 points of indictment to leak from his office “illegally” prior to the arraignment.
“This fake case was brought forward only to interfere with the 2024 election, and it should be dropped immediately,” he said.
Trump was greeted by chants of “USA” when he took the podium. His children, Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, and Tiffany Trump were also in attendance.
President Donald Trump also slammed the unprecedented move to indict a former President of the United States, which has never been done before in the history of the country.
“In a city [New York] that was so great just four or five years ago – but now we’re there, spent time there as you possibly read with a local failed district attorney, charging a former president of the United States for the first time in history,” he added.
