President Donald Trump decried the failing state of our nation during remarks delivered on Tuesday night at Mar-a-Lago, shortly after flying back from New York on the heels of his arraignment in court before Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan.
“With all of this being said and with a very dark cloud hanging over our beloved country, I have no doubt nevertheless that we will make America great again,” the president told the crowd.
He spoke for just over 30 minutes, slamming the politicized justice system not only in Manhattan but in Georgia, as well, ripping the “local racist district attorney” in the ongoing Atlanta probe related to a 2020 phone call he made to the Georgia secretary of state.
Trump additionally slammed the FBI’s raid of his home, Mar-a-Lago, and the ongoing investigation from special counsel Jack Smith surrounding the allegedly “classified documents” taken from there.
“As president, I have the right to declassify documents,” he reminded the crowd.
Trump further pointed out the dire state of the nation, highlighting the alliance that has been struck between Russia and China, as well as the collapse of the American financial system.
“Our currency is crashing and will soon no longer be the world’s standard…that will take us away from being even a great power,” he warned.
Trump added, “Incredibly we are now a failing nation – we are a nation in decline. And now these radical left lunatics want to interfere with our elections by using law enforcement – we can’t let that happen.”
