The latest jobs report for the month of May reflected a startling trend that bodes ill for native-born American citizens, drawing prominent criticism from the Trump campaign.
According to data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, more jobs were added to the workforce than expected, but not for Americans.
Per the Trump campaign, “May’s Employment Situation Report from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics paints a dire picture for the American economy as 663,000 native born American lost their jobs while 414,000 foreign born workers entered the workforce.”
This comes amidst the deluge of illegal immigration that has been facilitated by Joe Biden’s open borders policies. It is estimated by some that as many as 16 million foreigners have illegally gained entry into the United States through the unsecured border.
President Donald Trump has long warned that the illegal population now settling in the United States would pose a massive threat to American workers, particularly members of the Black and Hispanic communities.
“Unions are going to suffer,” he warned earlier this year.
According to Breitbart, the Federal Reserve is not cutting interest rates, noting, “The Fed typically cuts rates when the economy appears to be weakening.” However, some economists and financial experts have postulated, per their report, that “the Fed is risking an unnecessary recession by holding back on rate cuts.”
On Thursday, President Trump illustrated the difference in policy on immigration and the border between himself and Joe Biden, remarking, “The Biden Invasion is no accident – it’s a deliberate demolition of our sovereignty and our borders.”
He later added, “Quite simply, Joe Biden wants an INVASION, I want a DEPORTATION!”
