Next week marks a major GOP primary election for the 2024 presidential campaign cycle. On Feb. 24, President Donald Trump and former S.C. Governor Nikki Haley will battle it out in the Republican primary to determine who will carry the Palmetto State’s 50 delegates.

On Friday, the Trump campaign announced it would hold an election night watch party at the South Carolina State Fairgrounds on Saturday, Feb. 24. While the event start time has not yet been released, polls will close at 7:00 p.m. ET.

Based on Trump’s victories in Iowa, New Hampshire, and Nevada, the 45th president may give remarks shortly after election night results demonstrate a decisive victory.

With seven days to the primary, Trump holds a strong lead in South Carolina as several polls show his continued dominance in Nikki Haley’s home state. A Citadel poll has Trump up over Haley by 33 points. Similarly, a new Trafalgar poll has Trump ahead of his primary challenger by 29 points.

Trump looks set for another triumph in South Carolina, one of the last stops before the nation heads into Super Tuesday.
