The Trump campaign announced Wednesday that it won a major lawsuit related to extending early voting in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
The county was reportedly illegally turning away early voters, with Trump’s campaign and the Republican National Committee (RNC) immediately filing a lawsuit.
“The Pennsylvania Court has ordered that Bucks County must extend its in-person absentee voting (Pennsylvania’s early voting) through November 1. This is a huge win for President Trump’s election integrity efforts,” Trump’s campaign released in a statement.
“Bucks County, GO VOTE! If you’re in line by 5:00PM, it’s your right to vote – stay in line!” it added.
RNC President Michael also celebrated the victory in a post to X on Wednesday.
“PENNSYLVANIA LAWSUIT VICTORY,” he wrote. “We just won the Trump Campaign/RNC lawsuit against Bucks County, PA. We will now have extended early in-person mail-voting through November 1st — three extra days. We will keep fighting. Go vote! Stay in line!”
The Trump campaign filed the lawsuit after multiple reports of voters being turned away in Bucks County.
“This is a direct violation of Pennsylvanians’ rights to cast their ballot – and all voters have a right to STAY in line,” the Trump campaign wrote on Wednesday.
“The Pennsylvania Department of State made clear if voters are in line at a county elections office by 5:00PM, the counties MUST give voters the opportunity to apply for their mail-in ballot. Pennsylvania voters were turned away as early as 2:30PM,” it continued. “This is against the law. This is voter suppression from the left. We will fight for every legal vote in Pennsylvania. Go vote, and stay in line!”
The news also came as the Supreme Court ruled on Wednesday to allow Virginia to remove noncitizens from its voter rolls before the election.
The ruling blocked a federal judge’s recent decision against the effort that required 1,600 voters restored to the rolls.
“I am pleased to announce that the US Supreme Court granted Virginia’s emergency stay to keep noncitizens off our voter rolls,” Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares wrote on X Wednesday after the 6-3 announcement.
