President Donald Trump is speaking out against Big Tech censorship. He called out Facebook and Google in a post on Truth Social after news broke that Facebook suppressed images of his assassination attempt and Google’s search function was misdirecting those seeking information on him.
“Facebook has just admitted that it wrongly censored the Trump ‘attempted assassination photo,’ and got caught. Same thing for Google,” he wrote.
He noted how they suppressed information and added, “Both are facing BIG BACKLASH OVER CENSORSHIP CLAIMS.”
Then he stated that this was “another attempt at RIGGING THE ELECTION!!!”
He encouraged supporters to “go after” these Bit Tech entities, and concluded, “LET THEM KNOW WE ARE ALL WISE TO THEM, WILL BE MUCH TOUGHER THIS TIME. MAGA2024!”
This came after Facebook admitted that an “error” caused the infamous photo of President Trump standing up and raising his fist after being shot to be labeled as “misinformation,” per the New York Post.
Despite apologizing, Facebook’s parent company META is still being criticized due to their META AI Chatbot telling users that the assassination attempt is “fictional.”
In addition, Google received backlash as multiple users discovered that the search bar did not acknowledge President Trump’s assassination attempt, per RSBN.
Sen. Roger Marshall, R-Kan., posted to X on Monday asking, “Why is @Google suppressing the search about the Trump assassination attempt?”
“These are all screenshots from this morning. Has there been a dramatic increase in Truman biographers in the last two weeks?” he added.
Then he concluded, “I’ll be making an official inquiry into @google this week – I look forward to their response.”
