President Donald Trump issued an ultimatum to Hamas on Sunday, giving the terrorist group one last chance to accept his hostage deal, or suffer serious consequences.

“Everyone wants the Hostages HOME. Everyone wants this War to end! The Israelis have accepted my Terms. It is time for Hamas to accept as well,” he wrote in a post to Truth Social.

He continued, “I have warned Hamas about the consequences of not accepting. This is my last warning, there will not be another one! Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

While a peace deal has yet to be reached between Israel and Hamas to end the war in Gaza, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has promised to “take control” of the Gaza strip in order to defeat Hamas.

President Trump previously said that the remaining hostages would be returned when Hamas is “confronted and destroyed,” Fox News reported. Fifty hostages are believed to be held by Hamas, and only 20 of those are surmised to be alive.

Meanwhile, Israel is preparing a new offensive in Gaza to target Hamas, according to the outlet, further noting that a ceasefire will only take place if all of the hostages are returned and the war ends on Israel’s terms.
