President Donald Trump wrapped up a busy weekend of campaigning by delivering uplifting remarks in the Silver State at a Team Trump Commit to Caucus rally in Reno.
He spoke at the Sparks Convention Center on Sunday, where countless prospective primary voters gathered to hear what the 45th president had to say about the rapidly approaching Nevada caucus in February.
Before the president even took the stage, the crowd loudly chanted, “WE WANT TRUMP” in anticipation of his appearance.
The Trump finally made an appearance late in the afternoon, the venue exploded with excitement and cheering.
“You just broke the record for this place, so that’s pretty good!” President Trump said.
He continued, “I’m thrilled to be back in your state with THOUSANDS of proud, hardworking American patriots – that’s what you are!”
Trump wished the crowd a “very, very Merry Christmas” and noted that they were just “seven weeks away from the Nevada presidential caucuses.”
He went on, “And on Thursday, February 8th, we’re going to WIN the Nevada caucuses, [and] we are going then going to CRUSH Crooked Joe Biden…next November we’re going to WIN SO BIG it’s going to do something like you’d never seen before.”
President Trump pointed out that there was a big difference between his administration’s economic success and the crestfallen economic plateau underscoring Americans’ lives today at the hands of Joe Biden’s leadership.
“What a difference a president makes!” he commented.
President Donald Trump is overwhelmingly leading in the GOP primary polls nationwide and in Nevada. According to new data from McLaughlin & Associates, Trump has a crushing 60-point lead over Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., in the Silver State.
Trump told the crowd, “The next economic boom begins the instant the world knows that Crooked Joe Biden is gone and we have four more years of President Donald J. Trump and YOU – TOGETHER! We’re TOGETHER.”
