President Donald Trump fought back on Monday against a potential protective order that has been requested by special prosecutor Jack Smith, stating that it would infringe “upon my right to FREE SPEECH.”

He shared on Truth Social, “Deranged Jack Smith and the Department of Injustice should, however, because they are illegally ‘leaking’ all over the place!”

RSBN previously reported that Jack Smith had asked District Court Judge Tanya Chutkin to issue a protective order that would limit what the president would be able to share publicly.

This request came after Trump issued a statement on Truth Social that read, “IF YOU GO AFTER ME, I’M COMING AFTER YOU!”

On Monday, Trump published another statement on social media, writing, “WHAT THE DEPARTMENT OF INJUSTICE IS DOING TO ME IS THE SAME THING DONE BY THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES ALL OVER THE WORLD, BUT IT WILL NOT WORK. WE WILL MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

The president has strongly condemned the latest federal investigation and related charges against him as “ELECTION INTERFERENCE” and accused the “Corrupt Biden DOJ” of conveniently waiting until the presidential election cycle to bring them to court.

He explained, “Every one of these many Fake Charges filed against me by the Corrupt Biden DOJ could have been filed 2.5 years ago, but they waited and waited until I became dominant in the Polls, and then they filed them all, including locals, right in the middle of my Campaign.”

He said that the left wanted to run against “anybody but ‘Trump.’” The president also hinted that “perhaps” the alleged timed prosecution was “not legal.”

This week, the president additionally called for Judge Chutkin to recuse herself from presiding over the latest Jan. 6 case that has resulted in four federal charges aimed against Trump. He referred to Chutkin as Jack Smith’s “number one draft pick” and “the Judge of his ‘Dreams.’”

Per RSBN, Chutkin has a history of imposing strict sentences on Jan. 6 defendants in D.C. and was appointed by former President Barack Obama.
