President Donald Trump exposed former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley on Friday for her intentions to increase the time of retirement.

In a new radio ad released by the Trump campaign, Nikki Haley is heard saying that “65 is way too low” to receive Social Security and Medicare.

The answer was given during an interview with Bloomberg when Haley was asked how she would “manage the entitlements” to offset the national debt.

Not only did Haley state that the current rules to receive retirement benefits are inadequate, but that she would restructure the system by “increasing” the age of qualification.

According to the commercial, “Haley’s plan raises the age for collecting social security all the way to 75.”

The ideas of the former South Carolina governor regarding this topic are drastically unpopular among most in the nation. As reported in a Quinnipiac University poll, nearly 8 out of 10 Americans resist any effort to hike the age of retirement to 70 years old.

Recently, in a GOP primary debate hosted by CNN, Haley told moderator Jake Tapper that people in their twenties “should plan on their retirement age being increased.”

The stance taken by Haley has been a constant thorn in the side for her while on the campaign trail. Perhaps that is why she is attempting to distance herself from the position.

During a Fox News town hall, Haley was corrected by Fox News Host Bret Baier for denying that she had ever wanted to raise the age of entitlement.

President Trump continues to make this issue a focal point of his campaign as the Republican primary contest approaches the New Hampshire election.

Speaking at a New Hampshire campaign event on Friday, Trump said, “Nikki Haley said she wants to raise the retirement age to match life expectancy which means you’re supposed to work your entire life.”
