After obliterating Nikki Haley on Super Tuesday, President Trump delivered a riveting victory speech focusing on the general election.
He avoided mentioning Haley, leading supporters to look forward to defeating Joe Biden in November.
President Trump spoke about fixing the economy and ending the border crisis, addressing these as the main issues facing the nation. He said, “Inflation is destroying the middle class.”
He called it a “country buster,” and noted that Joe Biden is “the worst President in the history of our country.”
President Trump then referenced a recent Daily Mail article that revealed that an alleged 325,000 illegal immigrants were reportedly flown into the United States by the Biden administration to manipulate border crisis data.
“They’re pouring into California, and they’re pouring into Arizona,” President Trump added.
He described the lack of leadership regarding the border crisis. He said, “They want open borders, and open borders are going to destroy our country.”
According to the Gateway Pundit, Super Tuesday exit polls revealed that the top issue concerning Republicans is the border crisis and that the economy is the second most important issue for Democrat voters.
President Trump’s record speaks for itself on both issues. His commitment to border security and historic economic wins have been recorded by the Trump White House Archives.
In addition, President Trump is currently leading Biden in the latest Wall Street Journal poll. Over the weekend, he secured a two-point lead in a mash-up with Biden for the general election, a lead he intends to keep and widen.
