Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., summed up Joe Biden’s impending State of the Union address early this morning by posting a simple photo of the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington, D.C.

In the photo, workers appeared to be constructing a fence around the Capitol in preparation for Biden’s remarks on Thursday evening.

Rep. Greene wrote, “The State of the Union summed up in one picture. The Biden admin will erect a fence around the Capital in the dark of night but absolutely refuses to build a wall and seal our border to defend innocent Americans like Laken Riley.”

Laken Riley was a 22-year-old nursing student at the University of Georgia who was slain this year by an alleged illegal migrant from Venezuela. Her death has turned the national spotlight into a wave of rising crime in America that President Trump has referred to as “migrant crime.”

Rep. Greene continued, “The SOTU is not about Israel and Hamas or Ukraine and Russia, it’s supposed to be about the United States of America. Any attempt to tie America’s border security to funding foreign wars and aid will be met with extreme contempt by the American people and rightfully so!”

According to Axios, many Democrats are nervous about Thursday’s State of the Union address from Biden amid questions regarding his alleged cognitive decline and observable physical stiffness.

Certainly, Biden’s State of the Union address may provide a good indication of what his energy level really is headed into the 2024 election year. Following President Donald Trump’s landslide Super Tuesday victories across the country this week, it is clear that Trump is the prospective Republican nominee who will be set to face Biden yet again in November.

Trump openly challenged Biden to a debate “ANYTIME, ANYWHERE, ANYPLACE” on Wednesday, but it is unclear if Biden will choose to take Trump up on that challenge this year.
